sacubitril in VALSAC is a prodrug it works by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for the degradation of peptides ( atrial and brain).

If you miss a dose of VALSAC, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.

• follow healthy lifestyle habits like light walking, stretching and take a healthy diet that is low in sodium along with taking this medication
• if you feel dizzy suddenly, get up slowly if you are in a sitting or lying position
• this medication may increase potassium levels in your blood.
avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as bananas and broccoli to overcome this problem.
• inform your doctor if you had any dysfunction related to liver or kidney
• do not take this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
