If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• For the first few days, you may feel dizzy.
Do not drive or perform any other task that requires concentration until you know how aldactone affects you.
• It may raise the potassium level in your blood.
Avoid potassium supplements as well as potassium-rich foods like bananas and broccoli.
• While taking this medication, your doctor will regularly monitor your kidney function and the amount of potassium in your blood.
• If you have dizziness, diarrhoea, vomiting, a fast or irregular heartbeat, swelling in your feet, or difficulty breathing, inform your doctor.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant..
