caxetil belongs to the class of 2nd generation of cephalosporins used to treat infections in the nasal sinus, throat, ear, soft tissues, lungs, bones & joints, and urinary tract. it works by killing the bacterial cells, thus reduces the infection. this medication's most common side effects are rashes, nausea, vomiting, increased liver enzymes, and diarrhoea. these side effects will resolve with
hypersensitivity pregnancy breastfeeding kidney disease liver disease.
babies: it is not applicable.
