• Take iron-rich foods like fish, beans, dry fruits, iron, cereals and bread, green leafy vegetables

• Foods like dairy products, coffee, and tea may decrease the efficacy of iron and folic acid syrup.
• (folic acid + iron) + levodopa: concurrent use leads to decrease in the folic acid and iron absorption. • (folic acid + iron) + (calcium + vitamin d): concurrent use leads to decrease in the effect of folic acid and iron. • (folic acid + iron) + ciprofloxacin: concurrent use may interfere with the absorption of ciprofloxacin into the bloodstream and reduce its effectiveness. • (folic acid + iron) + valproate sodium: concurrent use leads to decrease in the valproate sodium plasma concentration • (folic acid + iron) + phenytoin: concurrent use leads to decrease in the plasma concentration of folic acid, iron.
