If you miss a dose of MOXCLAV, take it as soon as possible.
If it is near the time of the next dose, then skip the missed dose.
Take the prescribed dose on your regular time daily.
Don't double the dose to catch up with the missed dose..
• ensure to complete the entire course of antibiotics for your child.
don’t quit the medication as it may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection
• your child may experience a bitter taste in the mouth after the intake.
eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help
• encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhoea develops as a side effect
• never administer this medication until and unless prescribed by the doctor.
you must also never share your child’s medicine with anyone else, even if they show similar symptoms
• do not administer MOXCLAV medication to treat the common cold and flu-like symptoms caused by viruses
• never store the medicine for future illnesses.

• stop this medication immediately if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty.

contraindicated • (amoxycillin + potassium clavulanate) + probencid: probenecid decreases the secretion of amoxycillin in the kidney serious • (amoxycillin + potassium clavulanate) + acenocoumarol: concurrent use leads to an abnormal increase the bleeding time in patients • (amoxycillin + potassium clavulanate) + warfarin: concurrent use leads to an abnormal increase the bleeding time in patients • (amoxycillin + potassium clavulanate) + methotrexate: concurrent use of amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate may decrease the excretion of methotrexate which may lead to increased harmful effects moderate • (amoxycillin + potassium clavulanate) + allopurinol: concurrent use of amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate may cause an increased exposure of rashes.
